Kajang Police Apprehend Suspects After 94.4 KM Chase: One Suspect Had 23 Prior Convictions Kajang, Malaysia - In a dramatic incident on Saturday, Malaysian police apprehended three individuals following a high-speed chase that spanned 94.4 kilometers. The pursuit began in Taman Kajang Mewah and ended with the arrest of a man with 23 prior criminal and drug-related convictions, along with two women aged 28 and 30. "The incident occurred around 2:00 AM when the suspects attempted to flee after colliding with two other vehicles," stated Assistant Commissioner Azrul Abdul Yusof, Kajang District Police Chief. Video footage circulating online shows the police car's lights flashing as they pursue the suspect's HRV SUV. During the arrest, police also seized approximately one gram of syabu. All three suspects are local residents and unemployed. The case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing public servants in the performance of their duties, Section 12 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, and Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
