Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to grace Sabah's Kaamatan Festival. KOTA KINABALU, SABAH – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to visit Sabah this week, marking his presence at the state-level Kaamatan Harvest Festival. The festival, held at the Dewan Hongkod Koisaan in Penampang, is anticipated to draw thousands. "This event is a symbol of unity and the rich heritage of our Kadazan, Dusun, Murut, and Rungus communities," said a local representative. In addition to the festival, Anwar's schedule includes an official visit to the Sabah International Convention Centre and a private meeting with Pakatan Harapan leaders in Kota Kinabalu. He is also expected to attend Friday prayers at the Nurul Hikmah Mosque before departing. The visit underscores the government's commitment to Sabah and its diverse cultural landscape.
