Malaysia Urges Saudi Arabia to Continue Early Hajj Nusuk Card Distribution
Malaysia Seeks Continuation of Early Nusuk Card Distribution for Hajj 2026 Malaysia has formally requested that the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah continue its program of distributing Nusuk cards to Malaysian pilgrims well in advance of the Hajj pilgrimage. The request was made by Datuk Dr. Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), during a meeting with his Saudi counterpart, Dr. Tawfiq Fawzan Al-Rabiah. This program, pioneered by Malaysia this year, allows for the streamlined and efficient processing of Hajj applications and visas. "We are requesting that the Nusuk card distribution be advanced and that 100 percent of the cards be distributed in Malaysia," stated Datuk Dr. Mohd Na’im Mokhtar. This would significantly reduce logistical challenges for Malaysian pilgrims and improve their overall Hajj experience. The Saudi Ministry's response to Malaysia's request is eagerly awaited. The success of the early distribution program this year has shown its potential to benefit pilgrims worldwide, and a continuation would be a positive development for millions of Muslims planning their Hajj journey.
