For the past two months, the drainage system has been clogged, resulting in stagnant, foul-smelling water that is breeding mosquitoes. The situation is impacting more than 2,000 people. "The water is black and stagnant," says Koh Dat Loi, a long-time resident. "It overflows onto the streets, and the smell is unbearable. We're worried about getting sick." The video footage shows overflowing drains filled with murky water and overgrown weeds. Residents have repeatedly contacted local authorities, but to no avail. Kahar Musra, another resident, stated, "We've reported this issue several times, but nothing has been done. We're desperate for a solution." Local officials have been made aware of the situation and have promised to address the issue. The community hopes for swift action to prevent a potential dengue fever outbreak and improve the quality of life for residents of Taman Bintang.
