British Tourist Vanishes in Malaysia: Mother's Desperate Plea
British Tourist Missing in Malaysia: Frantic Mother's Search for Son A 25-year-old British tourist, Jordan Johnson-Doyle, has gone missing while backpacking in the Bangsar area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 30, 2025. His mother, Lianne Burnett, 44, has spoken to the Daily Mail UK, expressing her desperate concern. She revealed that her son's last known location, as tracked through the Find My iPhone app, was near a residential building adjacent to a bar in Bangsar on May 27th. The app stopped providing location updates three days later, on May 30th, when the phone's battery likely died. "I just want him home," said a distraught Burnett. "He was backpacking through Southeast Asia and was due to be in Malaysia for a while. His last contact with me was on May 26th, and everything seemed normal." Malaysian authorities are currently investigating the disappearance. Anyone with information is urged to contact the local police.
