
Malaysia Expands "Telaah" Audio Program to Cultivate Reading Habits
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – In a move to promote reading and intellectual discourse among students, the Ministry of Education in Malaysia is expanding the "Telaah" audio program. Initially launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the 2025 Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair, the program features discussions on various books and intellectual topics. Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir stated, "Telaah is not merely a program; it's a movement to reignite the love of reading." The expansion, a collaboration with the Ministry of Education, will include schools and universities nationwide. This initiative aims to cultivate a national love for reading and intellectual discussion, aligning with the aspirations of Malaysia Madani. The program will be broadcast weekly on digital platforms, offering a diverse range of discussions and intellectual exchanges.
