Malaysia: 72% of PERHEBAT Veterans Find Employment. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – In a significant development for veteran employment in Malaysia, 72% of the 6,891 veterans who completed the Perbadanan Hal Ehwal Bekas Angkatan Tentera (PERHEBAT) training program have successfully secured jobs. This achievement surpasses the 60% employment rate recorded in the previous year. Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Khaled Nordin expressed his satisfaction with the results, stating, "This is a significant increase and a testament to the success of the program." PERHEBAT's collaboration with 32 public and private agencies, including several universities, played a crucial role in creating these employment opportunities.
