Taiwanese Man Dies After Being Struck by LRT Train in Puchong

A Taiwanese man tragically lost his life on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, after falling onto the tracks and being struck by an LRT train at the Puchong Bandar LRT station in Pusat Bandar Puchong, Malaysia. According to Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Farid Ahmad, Serdang District Police Chief, the case is classified as sudden death. "The police are requesting that the public refrain from sharing images of the victim out of respect for the family's sensitivity," he stated. Fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and recovered the body of the 63-year-old victim, Chang Pau Shih, at 8:05 PM. He was transported to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Rapid KL responded to the incident by halting LRT operations between Putra Heights and Puchong Perdana stations and providing free shuttle bus services between the affected stations to ensure continued transportation for commuters.
