Royal Kembara to Connect with Citizens and Distribute Zakat in Malaysian Federal Territories Malaysia's Federal Territories Department (JWP) will conduct a Royal Kembara initiative, as directed by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim. This program will allow the King to personally connect with citizens across the three Federal Territories and distribute zakat aid. According to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department for Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, "As a sign of our respect for the King's decree, JWP and all related agencies are fully committed to the successful execution of the Royal Kembara." The Royal Kembara will provide an opportunity for Sultan Ibrahim to see firsthand the lives of his people and distribute zakat to those in need. This initiative aligns with the principles of loyalty to the King and country, reflecting a commitment to good governance and public service. The Royal Kembara is planned to coincide with the investiture ceremony for the 2025 Federal Territories Awards, further highlighting the significance of this event.
