According to Captain Maritime Abdul Muhaimin Mohamad Saleh of the Selangor Maritime Enforcement Agency, the boat, carrying six people, capsized approximately 0.3 nautical miles west of Tanjung Harapan. Initial investigations suggest the boat lost control before capsizing. "The search and rescue operation was activated at 5:16 PM after receiving reports of the incident," stated Captain Saleh. The operation involves the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the Marine Police Force, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department, and local boaters. The missing couple, identified as Gan Hon Tat (32) and his wife, Karin Mann (29), both residents of Klang Utama, were reportedly on the boat with their three-year-old son, Darren Gan. Sadly, Darren and two other passengers, Chiu Song Hin (50) and Fong Yong Sen (29), were found deceased at the scene.
