Beloved 'King of the Hill' Actor Jonathan Joss Fatally Shot in Apparent Hate Crime
San Antonio, Texas - A wave of shock and sadness swept through Hollywood and beyond following the tragic death of Jonathan Joss, a 59-year-old voice actor best known for his role as John Redcorn in the animated series "King of the Hill." Joss was fatally shot Sunday outside his home in San Antonio. His husband, speaking to authorities, reported that the shooter yelled violent homophobic slurs before the attack. "The person who killed my husband was screaming hateful things," said Joss's husband, clearly distraught. San Antonio police have arrested Sigfredo Alvarez Sahagún, a neighbor, in connection with the crime. While police are investigating, there is currently no evidence suggesting Joss's sexual orientation was the motive. Joss's death is a significant loss to the entertainment community. He had recently completed voice work for the upcoming "King of the Hill" revival. The investigation continues.
