

Teen's Science Project Turns into FBI Bomb Lab Investigation
A bomb lab was discovered in the basement of a teenager's home in Moorestown, New Jersey, on June 10, 2025, after a homemade explosive device detonated during a science experiment. The incident, which involved a group of teens, prompted a response from Moorestown Police, the FBI, and New Jersey State Police. According to Moorestown Police Director Patrick Reilly, "We received a tip on Saturday in regards to possible homemade explosive materials." The ensuing investigation led to the discovery of a sophisticated bomb lab in the basement of the home. As a precaution, several area schools, including Moorestown High School, received increased police presence. One neighbor, Soujanya Gamini, stated, "I woke up feeling that there was an earthquake or something." The teen suspect, who recently turned 18, has not yet been identified, but is expected to face charges. Authorities have assured the public that there is no current threat.
