Emirates Unveils Premium Economy Class on A380, Qantas Upgrades Lounges, and Virgin Partners with DoorDash Brisbane, Australia – Emirates has launched a new premium economy class on its Airbus A380 flights, offering passengers a more comfortable and luxurious travel experience. The new class, which costs almost double the price of regular economy, features wider seats, more legroom, and dedicated bathrooms. Adam D'Ambrosio, Emirates Regional Sales Manager, stated, "We're kind of halfway to business class." This upgrade comes as airlines worldwide face delays in receiving new aircraft. Meanwhile, Qantas is investing $100 million in revamping its business lounges across Australia, aiming to provide a more premium experience for its customers. Marcel Weisse-Nund, Qantas Operations & Logistics, described the new lounges as "one of those places you're just going to want to come back to time and time again." Virgin Australia has also announced a partnership with DoorDash, allowing Velocity frequent flyers to earn one point for every dollar spent on eligible DoorDash orders. These developments highlight the efforts of airlines to enhance their services and reward loyal customers amid a challenging industry climate.
