Adaptive Wake the World: Bringing Joy and Empowerment to Children with Disabilities Lake Lanier, Georgia – Adaptive Wake the World, a non-profit organization, recently hosted an event providing a day of waterskiing and wakeboarding for children with disabilities. The event, held on June 13th, 2025, saw a remarkable increase in participation from 7 participants the day before to 26 children on the 13th. The children, each with varying levels of independence and diagnoses, were supported by a dedicated team of staff members. One staff member, whose name was not disclosed, commented, "Our side skiers go through extensive training to keep everyone safe."
