A mother in the United States has publicly shared a unique parenting strategy she developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Jenn, a content creator, recounted her recent struggles with her nearly two-year-old daughter, who constantly sought attention, making it challenging for her to work. "I have been having difficulties with my almost two-year-old daughter the past couple of weeks," Jenn explained in a recent video. "She constantly wants my attention." Recognizing the developmental nature of her daughter's behavior, Jenn sought an unconventional solution: ChatGPT. She described inputting her situation into the AI, which then suggested a method she termed "inverted parenting." This approach involved "smothering her with a bunch of attention and like see what happens." Jenn decided to follow the advice, engaging her daughter with various activities like playing with blocks and going outside. The results were reportedly surprising. "It actually worked. It was insane," Jenn stated. After a period of intense engagement, her daughter transitioned into "almost 45 minutes by herself, like independent play." This unexpected outcome allowed Jenn to complete work and other tasks. She concluded by expressing profound gratitude, saying, "I truly cannot thank ChatGPT enough." The incident highlights the growing and sometimes unexpected applications of AI in daily life, even in personal challenges like parenting.
