The program, running from July 1st to September 30th, provides discounts of up to 90% on train and state-owned bus tickets, as well as Interrail passes. This initiative aims to make travel more accessible for young people, building on the success of previous years which saw over 5 million journeys facilitated. "This year's Verano Joven promises to be even bigger and better," said a spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport. "We are committed to providing affordable and convenient travel options for young people across Spain and Europe." To participate, young people aged 18 to 30 must register on a dedicated website that will be launched soon by the Ministry of Transport. Upon registration, they will receive a discount code to be used when purchasing tickets. It's crucial to register at least 24 hours before the intended travel date.
