
Massive Fire Engulfs Four Factories in Karachi's Industrial Zone
A significant fire broke out in the Landi Export Processing Zone in Karachi, Pakistan on June 7, 2025, causing widespread damage to four factories. Emergency services responded swiftly, deploying fourteen fire engines, two snorkel trucks, and a Bowser to combat the flames. Iqtidar Anwar, Aaj News's chief reporter in Karachi, reported on the scene, stating, "Due to the intensity of the fire, there was an initial shortage of water, but later an emergency water supply was implemented from a water hydrant." One person was injured and transported to a hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but authorities are focused on containing the blaze and preventing further spread.
