A New Katy Trail Singles Event Aims to Make Dating a Walk in the Park

Dallas, TX – Singles in Dallas are invited to a new social event designed to foster connections along the city's popular trails. The event, now rebranded as "Date-Y Trail," will debut on Thursday, June 26th, offering a unique opportunity for individuals to meet. The organizer, known as Abbey, announced the details in a recent video, clarifying the event's structure and purpose. The "Date-Y Trail" will commence at the Knox entrance of the trail, where participants can receive a red wristband between 6 PM and 7 PM. These wristbands will serve as a clear signal that the wearer is single and open to engaging in conversation with others. "If you see someone cute that you think is nice, that they have a red wristband on, they want to be approached, they want to be talked to, they are also single, they are there to meet someone," Abbey explained. Following the trail activities, an optional happy hour is scheduled for 8 PM at Berkeley's, located off Knox. This provides an additional opportunity for participants to continue their conversations and connect in a relaxed setting. Abbey confirmed her own participation, stating, "I am single and wanting to participate. So if you are coming, I'll be handing your wristband, but like talk to me if you think I'm cute, okay?"
