Venezuelan Man Arrested for Impersonating Teenager in Ohio

A 24-year-old Venezuelan man, Anthony Emmanuel Labrador Sierra, was arrested in Perrysburg, Ohio, on Monday, May 19, 2025, for allegedly impersonating a 16-year-old high school student. According to Perrysburg Police, Labrador Sierra contacted the school in November 2023, seeking enrollment and claiming to be a homeless trafficking victim from Venezuela. He presented false documents, including a fake birth certificate. "He falsified numerous documents in order to enroll in Perrysburg High School," stated the prosecutor. Labrador Sierra told the court, "A lot of these accusations are false. I really haven't hurt anybody." The judge set a $50,000 bond. The case highlights issues of immigration and identity fraud.
