Chicago Baby's Death Ruled Homicide; $5,000 Reward Offered
A two-month-old baby, Kayson Flowers, was found unresponsive at his home on the 200-block of W. 106th Street in Chicago. He was taken to Roseland Hospital where he was pronounced dead on April 26th. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified Kayson and determined his death to be a homicide due to multiple injuries indicating child abuse. "The medical examiner said Flowers had multiple injuries, signs of child abuse and ruled his death a homicide." stated the ABC7 Chicago report. A vigil is being held tonight at Roseland Christian Ministries on South Michigan Avenue, and a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. This tragedy highlights the importance of child protection and underscores the need for community support in such cases. The outpouring of support shown through the planned vigil and reward demonstrates the community's commitment to justice for Kayson.
