In March, Arbora suffered a cardiac arrest due to a rare, unknown blood clot. Her parents, Tim and Tina, immediately began performing CPR, a skill that proved crucial in those critical moments. "It was a shock as parents," said Tim, Arbora's father, during a recent interview. "But they see this kind of thing every day. We were just doing our job." When emergency responders arrived, paramedics swiftly took over, continuing CPR and administering advanced life support. Their rapid response and expertise were instrumental in stabilizing Arbora, who later recovered at Lurie Children's Hospital. Two months later, the five paramedics involved were recognized for their heroism, receiving the Community Hero Award from the Project Adam team at Lurie Children's Hospital. This award underscores the importance of swift action and CPR training in emergency situations.
