The incident occurred Wednesday evening, around 6 PM, on the 7100 block of South Harvard in the Englewood neighborhood. Police responded to reports of a stabbing and found a one-year-old girl and two boys, ages 3 and 5, suffering from stab wounds to their wrists. Devaughn Stringfellow, a tow truck driver, was at the scene and witnessed the aftermath. He stated, "I saw the baby lying right there on the ground." Stringfellow took the children to the hospital, where he recounted the woman confessing, "I did it because I got three different baby daddies and ain't nobody trying to help me." The children were subsequently transferred to Comer Children's Hospital, where they remain in serious condition. Police have not yet released details on the relationship between the woman and the victims, but charges are pending.
