Search teams are desperately searching for Edson Vendeira, a 36-year-old experienced climber who went missing in the Peruvian Andes over a week ago. "He's always been passionate about reaching the highest heights," she said, adding that he was undertaking this climb as training to become a certified high mountain guide.
