Rare Twin Waterspouts Spotted Over Florida's Manatee River

MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA – Boaters on the Manatee River were treated to a rare spectacle on June 22, 2025, as twin waterspouts formed simultaneously over the water. Footage captured by local boaters shows two distinct columns of swirling air and water extending from the stormy clouds down to the river's surface. Another voice noted, "It almost looks like it's dissipating a little at the end," referring to one of the waterspouts.
