Five years ago, a loose lug nut from an oncoming truck pierced her windshield and struck her face, resulting in over 30 surgeries and extensive facial reconstruction. In her video, she displayed the actual lug nut that caused the severe injury. She underscored the necessity of torquing lug nuts to specification every time a tire is removed and re-torquing them again after driving 50-100 miles.
