Millions brace for severe weather as AccuWeather predicts multi-day threat. A multi-day severe weather threat is expected to impact millions of people across the United States, according to AccuWeather. The threat, which begins Thursday, will bring the possibility of tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds, according to AccuWeather Chief Video Meteorologist Bernie Rayno. "We begin Thursday afternoon, Thursday night as a powerful storm pushes across northern Minnesota on the southeastern side," Rayno said in the video. The threat will continue into Friday, with a high risk of severe thunderstorms in the Tennessee and Ohio Valley. "It's a pretty large area of at least some risk, which spans from Oklahoma and Texas all the way into the southeastern parts of Pennsylvania," Rayno said. By Saturday, the severe weather will shift further south, and by Sunday and Monday, the Midwest will be affected. AccuWeather is urging residents in these areas to prepare for the possibility of damaging winds, flash flooding, and hail.
