Moon, Venus, and Saturn to Align in Stunning Pre-Sunrise Display
A celestial treat awaits skywatchers this weekend as a beautiful planetary alignment graces the morning sky. AccuWeather reports that a crescent moon will appear positioned between Venus and Saturn, creating a breathtaking sight. "Get ready for the unofficial start to summer with a stunning planetary alignment," says AccuWeather broadcaster Anna Azallion. The event is visible before sunrise on both Friday, May 23rd, and Saturday, May 24th, 2025, and requires no special equipment; it can be seen with the naked eye. Azallion advises looking east about an hour before sunrise. On Friday, the moon will be centered between Venus and Saturn, while on Saturday, it will be located at the bottom of the alignment, just to the left of Venus. This celestial display offers a moment of wonder and beauty, a perfect start to the Memorial Day weekend.
