
Arrest Made in Ayotzinapa Case: "Pajarraco" Detained in Hidalgo
The arrest of Juan Miguel Pantoja Miranda, alias "Pajarraco," a suspect in the Ayotzinapa case, has sent shockwaves through Mexico. Apprehended in Almoloya, Hidalgo, during a federal operation, Miranda is accused of participating in the events of September 26th and 27th, 2014, when 43 students disappeared. According to the ADN40 report, Miranda's testimony before the CNDH implicated him in the students' movements and subsequent deaths. "He vigilantly oversaw the transfer of the normalistas from Metlapa to the Cocula landfill," states the ADN40 report.
