Belarusian Farm's Tech Upgrade Boosts Efficiency, Cow Happiness
Belarusian Farm Streamlines Operations with New Self-Propelled Feed Pusher A dairy farm in Belarus has implemented a new self-propelled feed pusher, the PanMix, to improve efficiency and animal welfare. The farm previously relied on manual labor for distributing feed, a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. The PanMix has significantly reduced the time required for this task, according to Natalia Voltych, a farm manager. "Before, it took us a lot of time," Voltych said. "Now, it takes about 15 minutes for two buildings." The farm workers, including Sergey Buzuk, appreciate the ease of use and efficiency of the new machine. "They gave us this technique to push the feed," Buzuk shared. "It's much easier now." The cows also appear to benefit from the consistent and efficient feeding. The farm's adoption of the PanMix demonstrates the increasing use of technology to modernize agricultural practices and improve productivity. The success of this initiative could inspire other farms to explore similar technological advancements.
