Asel Baimagisheva, a Kyrgyzstani mountaineer, made history by becoming the first woman from her country to conquer Mount Everest. This remarkable feat was celebrated with a 500,000 som award presented by Prime Minister Akylbek Kasymaliyev. The Prime Minister's office confirmed the award, highlighting the government's support for sports and national pride. In a touching gesture, Baimagisheva presented Kasymaliyev with a Kyrgyz flag and a stone from Everest's summit. "It was an incredible honor to meet the Prime Minister," Baimagisheva stated, "and his support has been invaluable."
