US Intelligence Confirms "Complete Destruction" of Iranian Nuclear Facilities, Rebuilding to Take Years
Washington D.C. – US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced today that Iranian nuclear facilities have suffered "complete destruction" and will require "years" to rebuild, citing intelligence reports. Speaking from a podium adorned with the Department of Defense seal, Hegseth elaborated on the extent of the damage. "Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has spoken about immense destruction at Iranian nuclear facilities," Hegseth stated. He further added, "The Israeli Army Chief of Staff has also confirmed that we have largely destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities, contributing to a decline in nuclear capabilities for many years." Hegseth also quoted John Ratcliffe, the US Director of National Intelligence, who "confirms that US intelligence confirms that the Iranian nuclear program has been largely destroyed due to American strikes." He underlined the high reliability of the intelligence, noting its consistency across various sources and distinguishing it from initial reports. "New intelligence confirms what these sources have stated," Hegseth emphasized, specifically mentioning the destruction of centrifuges. He concluded by reiterating that the rebuilding process would take "years."
