"It was not my decision, although unfortunately, that's how I sold it," Blanco stated during the interview. He further elaborated on the timing of the dismissal, noting that he was informed on a Friday morning, just as he was about to go on summer vacation. "If it had depended on them, that day would have been my last program," he added. Despite the unexpected nature of his exit, Blanco expressed his deep affection for Zapeando, referring to it as "my little son," and emphasized his desire for the show's continued success under its new hosts, including Dani Mateo.
