Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol, a city within the oblast, provided a grim update on the situation. "More than 400 attacks occurred across Zaporizhzhia Oblast," Fedorov stated in a recent video. The attacks reportedly involved drones and artillery fire. While air defenses successfully intercepted many of the enemy's targets, Fedorov also sadly reported injuries among civilians. Over the past week alone, ten people were injured, including two employees of the Ukroboronprom state concern, highlighting the widespread impact of the conflict. Despite the destruction of enemy targets, the situation remains incredibly tense, with the enemy continuing their attacks and creating a climate of fear.
