Partner of Notorious 'El Monstruo' Extradited to Peru

On June 7th, 2025, Lisbeth Albina Ruiz Cruz, the partner of notorious Peruvian criminal Erick Moreno Hernández, alias "El Monstruo," was extradited to Peru from Bolivia. The extradition, a result of collaborative efforts between Peruvian and Bolivian law enforcement, followed Ruiz Cruz's capture in Bolivia. She is suspected of involvement in "El Monstruo's" criminal activities, specifically in managing finances obtained through extortion. A Bolivian official stated, "La señora Lisbeth Albina Cruz Ruiz…se encarga de la administración de los recursos que provienen de la extorsión." Upon arrival at the Desaguadero border crossing, Ruiz Cruz, accompanied by a young child, was immediately taken into custody by Peruvian authorities. She will now face investigation and potential charges in Peru.
