Беларусы устроили «голодные игры» в Green. И всё из-за одного дешевого продукта
Очереди, переполненные тележки и «голодные игры»: в Green вспыхнул ажиотаж из-за картошки по 69 копеек.
MINSK, Belarus – Shoppers in a Belarusian Green supermarket recently experienced a scene reminiscent of "The Hunger Games" as they vied for discounted potatoes. A video uploaded by local content creator Andrei Sibir captured the intense demand, showing long queues and customers rushing to grab the last available bags of potatoes priced at 69 kopecks per kilogram. The chaotic situation left one cashier visibly overwhelmed, while an elderly woman expressed her dismay after being informed that no more potatoes would be available until Tuesday. The content creator, who managed to purchase three bags of potatoes and some cabbage, described his success as feeling like an "Olympic winner." He noted that the special offer on potatoes is set to conclude on September 30th, with a new shipment anticipated on Tuesday. This event underscores the significant demand for staple goods and the impact of promotional pricing on consumer behavior in the region.
