Panamanian Aeronaval Delivers 72 Tons of Aid to Bocas del Toro Bocas del Toro, Panama – In a significant humanitarian effort, the Panamanian Aeronaval recently transported over 72 tons of essential supplies to Bocas del Toro province. The operation, conducted by the multi-purpose vessel L-403 "Presidente Manuel Amador Guerrero," delivered aid to support the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN), and the Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA). The delivery included 400 sacks of granulated aluminum sulfate for IDAAN, crucial for water purification and benefiting over 12,000 people. Additionally, 30 tanks of liquid soap and 30 tanks of Clorox were provided to MINSA for hospital sanitation in Changuinola. To support ongoing operations, 700 gallons of fuel were also delivered. The IMA received 32 pallets of food supplies, totaling 83,755 pounds, to bolster food distribution throughout the province. "This operation demonstrates the Aeronaval's commitment to supporting communities during times of need," stated a spokesperson for the Aeronaval. The efficient and safe delivery of this aid is a testament to their dedication.
