Graduating Students Elude Police in Mangystau Region A car chase unfolded in the Zhana Daulet village of Mangystau region, Kazakhstan, on May 23rd. Several graduating students, celebrating their completion of school, disregarded police instructions to stop. Police pursued the vehicle, a Toyota Camry, which eventually stopped in a residential courtyard. One student, still wearing his graduation ribbon, was seen inside the car. "The students ignored our commands and even filmed the pursuit," stated a police spokesperson from the Munaily District Police Department. The car's owner was subsequently fined under Article 613 of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Administrative Code. All individuals involved were detained and will face legal consequences.
