ArchDaily's Venice Exhibit Showcases Sustainable Architecture's Power
ArchDaily and ECC Showcase Sustainable Architecture in Venice Venice, Italy – ArchDaily, in collaboration with the European Cultural Centre (ECC), has launched its first-ever exhibition, a significant event within the seventh edition of the Time Space Existence biennial. This exhibition, located at the historic Palazzo Mora, focuses on circular architecture and its role in addressing global challenges such as climate change and urban inequality. The exhibition features six innovative architectural practices from around the world, each highlighting unique approaches to sustainable design and community engagement. For example, Taller General from Ecuador emphasizes social transformation in its projects, while Estudio Flume from Brazil focuses on sustainable construction materials. "These practices reveal that every stage of architecture is about shaping the whole," explains Victor Delaqua, whose text accompanies the exhibition's diagram. "From material innovation to community-engaged projects, inhabiting becomes an act of power." The exhibition's curators, Christele Harrouk, Daniela Porto, and Romullo Baratto, have created a compelling showcase of how architecture can be a vehicle for positive change. The exhibition runs until November 23rd, offering a unique opportunity to explore innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. The free entry makes it accessible to a wide audience.
