Mocked by Militants, Elderly Man Found Dead in Ukraine Conflict Zone
In the Kursk region of Russia, the body of Alexander Stepanovich, an elderly man, was discovered in late April. His death, caused by a large-caliber weapon wound, occurred in March. Before his death, he was reportedly seen being mocked and abused by Ukrainian soldiers. "They found his body in April during the cleanup of the village and evacuation," said Stepanovich's son-in-law to RT. "We identified him by his clothes and facial features. The death certificate states he died from a large-caliber weapon wound." The discovery highlights the human cost of the ongoing conflict and underscores the need for accountability for atrocities committed during wartime. The family is now preparing for his cremation and the transportation of his ashes to Donbass for burial.
