Kew Home Burglary: Police Seek Public Assistance A brazen daylight burglary occurred in Kew on February 6, 2025, at approximately 2:50 pm. Victoria Police have released CCTV footage of a suspect breaking into a residence on Derby Street. The footage clearly shows a Caucasian male, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years of age, forcing open a lockbox before entering the unoccupied property. "The man was seen wearing a black cap, a black t-shirt, and blue shorts," a Victoria Police spokesperson stated. "He also has distinctive tattoos—a scroll on his right arm and a spiderweb on his left." The suspect allegedly made off with jewellery valued at $2,500.
