Deputy's Swift Action Alleviates Water Crisis in Chitré
In the Herrera district of Panama, specifically in the town of Chitré, hundreds of families faced a severe shortage of drinking water. The situation prompted an immediate response from Deputy Manuel Cohen Salerno, who swiftly mobilized a fleet of water tankers to deliver potable water to several crucial locations. The water trucks provided relief to schools such as the Hipólito Pérez Tello Primary School and the Eneida de Castillero school in Llano Bonito, as well as to the Sergio Pérez Delgado school in Monagrillo. Other beneficiaries included the Chitré CAIPI, Boca de Parita, the Red Cross, and the María Auxiliadora Home. The Deputy's rapid action showcases a responsive approach to community needs during a time of crisis. "It was a matter of urgency," said a local resident, "and the Deputy's quick response ensured that our schools and essential services had access to clean water."
