Police Hunt Teens After Mutilated Kittens Found in Ickenham
Ickenham Kitten Cruelty: Police Release CCTV Footage in Search for Teens A disturbing incident of animal cruelty has prompted a police appeal in Ickenham, West London. Two kittens were found dead, having suffered mutilation, in a field near West Ruislip tube station. London's Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage showing two teenagers who may have information about the incident. The footage, captured on a nearby security camera, shows the pair walking along a residential street. Police describe them as teenagers, one with long blonde hair and the other with shorter, darker hair. A black duffel bag is also shown in the video, which police believe was used to transport the animals. "We are working to help try and identify who the pair are so that we can firstly ensure that justice is brought to them, but also to safeguard them and make sure that it doesn't lead to any future offences," a police spokesperson stated. The police are urging anyone with information or footage from house or car cameras to come forward and report what they know, either directly or anonymously through CrimeStoppers. The investigation underscores the seriousness of animal cruelty, with potential penalties including fines, disqualification from keeping animals, and up to five years imprisonment.
