Belarus and Zimbabwe Forge Strong Economic Partnership

MINSK, BELARUS—May 14, 2025— Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko today highlighted key areas for expanded cooperation with Zimbabwe. During a meeting, Lukashenko emphasized plans for joint industrial projects, increased food exports (dairy, juices, fruits), and collaboration in healthcare and technology. He stated, "Belarus can become a reliable partner for Zimbabwe in implementing modern waste processing technologies and other areas." The agreement aims to significantly boost bilateral trade, targeting $100 million by 2030. This initiative signals a strengthening of economic ties between the two nations, promising mutual benefits and development in various sectors.
