
Nine FRU Officers Killed in Tragic Malaysian Truck Accident; One-Month Investigation Deadline Set
A tragic accident involving a truck carrying FRU members in Malaysia has claimed the lives of nine officers. The Malaysian Ministry of Transport has been given a one-month deadline to complete its investigation report. This announcement was made by Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi during a Cabinet meeting. "The Ministry of Transport has been given a month to complete the report on this tragic incident," Hamidi stated. A separate investigation is also underway by the police. In a show of support, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail plans to visit the families of the victims in the coming days. Each family will also receive a RM2,000 condolence payment. The incident serves as a somber reminder of the risks faced by those in service.
