Langkawi's LIMA'25 Exhibition: A Record-Breaking Success Langkawi, Malaysia – The Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA'25) concluded with impressive results, exceeding expectations in several key areas. This year's event saw the signing of 96 memorandums of understanding (MoUs), totaling over RM11 billion, a substantial increase from the RM10 billion recorded during the previous exhibition. This significant rise indicates a strong resurgence in international investment and collaboration within the aerospace and maritime sectors. The exhibition also witnessed a notable increase in participation from local businesses. With 299 local exhibitors, compared to 244 in the previous edition, LIMA'25 showcased the growth and vibrancy of Malaysia's domestic industries. The event further highlighted the country's commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement in these crucial sectors. In addition, 377 international companies participated, demonstrating global interest in the Malaysian market. "This year's LIMA'25 has been exceptionally successful," said Datuk Lokman Hakim Ali, Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Defence. "The significant increase in MOU values and exhibitor numbers reflects the confidence that international and local businesses have in Malaysia's potential."
