
Malaysia Launches Nationwide Cybersecurity Campaign for Schools
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – In a significant move to enhance cybersecurity awareness among students, Malaysia launched the "Kempen Internet Selamat" campaign. This initiative, involving 344 primary and secondary schools nationwide, aims to educate students about online safety and responsible digital citizenship. The campaign, running from May to August 2025, is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Communications and various educational institutions. According to Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications, "Our goal is to reach as many schools as possible to educate students about online safety." The campaign includes workshops, presentations, and interactive sessions designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world safely. The Ministry is actively engaging with schools to ensure maximum participation and impact.
