Langkawi Hosts Maritime Security Showcase at LIMA'25 Langkawi, Malaysia – The maritime segment of the Langkawi International Maritime Exposition (LIMA) 2025 provided a compelling demonstration of the capabilities of Malaysian and international maritime security agencies. The event, held from May 22-25, featured drills and displays from various agencies, including the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM), and the Marine Police. The demonstrations included high-speed boat maneuvers, rappelling exercises, and coordinated responses to simulated maritime threats. "The aim is not just to attract local and international attention, but to demonstrate our forces' readiness to safeguard our waters," stated Syamimi Saripan of RTM, who reported from the event. The exercises showcased the advanced equipment and coordinated training of these agencies.
