Hajj Warning: Malaysian Pilgrims Reminded of Zamzam Water Postal Ban
Malaysian Hajj pilgrims are reminded of the ban on sending Zamzam water via post. The prohibition, explained by officials in a recent video from Berita RTM, aims to prevent logistical issues and ensure a smooth return journey for all pilgrims. "There have been instances in previous years where pilgrims attempted to send Zamzam water in small bottles," said Mohamad Zamry Mohd Noor, Tabung Haji's manager. "This is not allowed, as Zamzam water is a controlled item and cannot be sold or traded." The video highlights the designated logistical companies approved by Tabung Haji to handle baggage, including TH Travel & Services, Pos Malaysia, FGV Transport Services, MAS Kargo, and KTH Logistik. Pilgrims are urged to plan ahead and use these services to avoid delays or issues at the airport. The clear guidelines aim to facilitate a smooth and efficient process for all Malaysian pilgrims during this year's Hajj season.
