Malaysia Ensures All Hajj Pilgrims Participate in Wukuf at Arafah
Wukuf in Arafah: Ensuring All Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims Fulfill Religious Obligations Millions of Muslims worldwide participate in the annual Hajj pilgrimage. This year, the focus in Malaysia is on ensuring that all pilgrims, especially those with health issues, can complete the Wukuf in Arafah. This crucial ritual takes place on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, and this year, it fell on June 5th, 2025. The Malaysian government has taken significant steps to facilitate this, including providing special transportation for those who may have difficulty traveling to the site. "We have provided 8 buses to transport pilgrims who are unwell or have mobility issues to Arafah," said Datuk Dr. Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs). "This initiative is part of our efforts to ensure that every Malaysian pilgrim has the opportunity to complete the Hajj pilgrimage." The video from Berita RTM shows the smooth operation of this initiative, with pilgrims boarding the specially equipped buses and being transported safely to Arafah. This initiative is a testament to the government's commitment to ensuring the comfort and well-being of its citizens during the Hajj pilgrimage.
