Missing Malaysian Teenager Found Safe After Extensive Search A 15-year-old boy, Muhammad Aidil Ashraf Muhammad Fazli, went missing in Melaka, Malaysia, after leaving home to tend cattle in a nearby forest on June 5, 2025. A large-scale search operation was launched, involving 42 personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), police, and civil defense forces, along with three K9 units. The search continued throughout the night. "The search was challenging due to the dense forest and difficult terrain," said a spokesperson for the JBPM Melaka. "But we were determined to find him." The teenager was finally located early the following morning, June 6th, approximately 600 meters from the fire station. He was found weak but alive, lying under a tree. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is reported to be stable. "We are relieved that Muhammad Aidil was found safe," said his mother, who was present at the hospital. "We are so grateful to everyone involved in the search." The successful rescue operation highlights the dedication and collaboration of the emergency services and volunteers in Melaka. The search operation concluded at 3:25 AM.
